If that is a truth somehow then I am beyond disgusted. There are people with lupus and rheumatoid out there that would really need and could use this drug yet doses are going to a man that does not need it and could avoid a possible COVID infection by just doing the simple things , like social distancing. People taking this drug need to do so for their quality of life and health and they will take it despite possible side effects.

Maybe Trump is taking it to suppress his appetite for junk food. In any case I heartedly recommend that whoever is dishing out the dose ,switch it for Sodium Pentothal. Would do the USA and the rest of the thinking world far more good.

I effing well loathe this horrible apology for a man - and most all of his family for their words and deeds. I effing really do.

I agree. If you measure the deaths per million of population, the US has nearly half as many deaths as the UK.

It would be good to have more data to drill into to and analyse.

I would never champion China's politics nor form of government, nor most anything else they do.

However, you conspiracy theorists have this habit of believing the patently implausible. We can't be sure of China's numbers, but it's nowhere near the rate in the US. If it were, it wouldn't matter what China says, it would be known. There are many outsiders on the ground in China. And while their 82000 infections and 4000 deaths can't be absolutely verified, it's pretty certain that it's not a dramatic difference from reality. If China had 2 million infections and 100000 deaths, it would be pretty difficult to hide.

Besides, between China and the US, which government has more motivation to skew the numbers for political reasons right now? Hint: November.

And just an observation, but it's notable that western democracies historically engaged in varying degrees of denial solely in the interest of domestic politics, seem to be the ones still struggling to get ahead of this. Ex: US, Brazil, UK...

Or perhaps it's all just a secret conspiracy with millions of people directly involved that are all sworn to secrecy. You know, the deep state. Illuminati...
