This could be a real spectacle on tv, better than OJ.

I would sincerely hope that one day if ever you were charged with a crime of some kind or other that your defence attorney will come to you and say "I'm sorry mister Caretaker but we have been denied access to the one who reported you because he has to remain anonymous due to safety and protection issues"

But we already pay $52 trillion, on the current monumentally inefficient and inadequate system! Part of the problem is that the Republicans have no plan at all on the table, so there’s nothing to compare the Democratic candidates plans with!

Upgrading the ACA, making it workable and affordable for the uninsured IMO is the solution. The uninsured get the healthcare and those on private healthcare who are happy with it get to keep it. This is not going to cost 50 trillion and will avoid the risk and unknowns of dragging 350 million people into a system which at present is only a "win the votes for me" electioneering trip with absolutely no idea as to how it could be paid for without raising middle class taxes significantly makes sense to me. It's quite clear that at this time the worst thing that could happen is to start jacking up taxes on the middle class when the middle class is only just starting to close the big income gap. Even just as bad, if it were ever to happen god forbid and the lunatic Sanders or maybe even Warren was elected President the stock market would drop 12-13,000 points the first day and at that point take over a decade to recover. We would go into a recession you wouldn't believe

WE ALREADY PAY MORE THAN $50 TRILLION.

How does your plan conceivably cost less than we pay now?

We need to get more bang for our buck.

Do you really suppose that's something Trump and the Republican party would ever implement. Trump's single most intent is to undo everything Obama achieved
Deep down the Republicans would love to abolish or severely limit Medicare. Clearly something I'm sure you would support.

Do the accused ever, as a matter of course get told who raised the issue with the authorities, police, or whoever they may be? The person concerned here, would be the equivalent of whoever dialed 999 or 911. They are not necessarily a witness, they are not necessarily even saying a crime has occurred, or who might be responsible, just raising an issue for the police to be aware of. I know I recently contacted the FBI about an issue. I thoroughly expect that the person concerned will not find out that I called the FBI.

Of course. Plus nobody has been "charged" with anything. Plus this idiot has been told this about 50 billion times. Plus the Orange One confessed in public to what was originally whistle-blowed as did his Chief of Staff and every single witness called to testify since.

Trolls gonna troll.

Did the whistleblower actually overhear the phone call?

Why then are there demands by the Republicans that the whistleblower appear at the hearings along with Biden Jnr?. This whole inquiry process is aimed at charges being eventually made otherwise why are Schiff and Pelosi spending their time on the inquiry? Schiff should be removed from the process. He's already destroyed any chance of being a fair and innocent until proved guilty participant in the matter. Already acted as judge ,and executioner has made himself clear during several press conference. If charges are made then the whistleblower should be subpoenaed to appear along with all the other witnesses.

I dare say then that if Warren were to beat Trump and a few months after start the wheels rolling to implement her Medicare for All agenda the whole process will happen slicker than shit? The millions on private insurance wont protest? there'll be no long drawn out arguments in Congress and the Senate over the pros and cons of the deal. We'll all be fully and precisely briefed on how this will be paid for?. There'll be no lengthy lawsuits from the private insurance companies and organized groups of members of those private insurance plans who will be forcibly yanked from that coverage? Several million people who are employed in private insurance wont lose their jobs? Doctors, nurses, specialists will happily accept a 25 percent cut in their salaries? The stock market having dropped back down to 9.000 points and billionaires and large businesses about to feel the bite of Warren's over zealous taxation policies wont cut back on hiring or even shut down operations in some cases? Do you believe that the tax rate you are now paying wont be raised?

There's a lot more here than getting more bang for your buck laddie.

If the inquiry ends in an impeachment trial then the whistle blower should be subpoenaed to appear before defence council. I'm at a loss to understand all the secrecy. Anyway it will all be complete waste of time as it will die in the Senate. What needs to be understood is that while numbers of Republican Senators may disapprove of Trumps behavior their strong dislike for such Democrats as Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler will sway their vote in favour of Trump
