Trump's definition of globalization is there alt-right version which has almost nothing to do with the traditional definition of globalization.

Michael Avenatti now representing 3 more women paid hush money prior to the 2016 election, Trump may have to threaten war on someone today.

Why is poster in quotes? Oh and it's not supercilious when you know you're better...

Seriously though, the problem I have is all do is post links to articles saying Trump is bad and offer no analysis. It doesn't add anything to the thread. Everyone already knows Trump is bad, incompetent and corrupt. Why don't you try digging a little deeper, look at why Trump has support, think about what to do to make things better. What should Democrats do to win in the midterms and win in 2020. What are your thoughts about that?

I have disagreements with pretty much everyone on this thread about many different issues, but we make our case and give our perspective. I learn from them, and I hope they learn from me. Right now you offer nothing. Sorry if I upset or offend you, but you won't be the first, and most likely not the last. But I'm not going to change.

Honestly, I only think this matters if the payoffs are dodgy. I think it's clear by now that Trump's supporters don't care how many women he's shagged.

Isn't there an allegation that campaign funds were used to pay off one, or more of them and that's what makes them particularly dodgy?

Yes, there are suggestions of breaches of campaign finance laws, which - while they don't seem terribly significant given the monstrous amounts of money thrown about by PACs - are held in rather strict regard by the courts.

That's not the most interesting news I've seen today, though. I may have missed it yesterday, but I suspect that Cohen's claim that Trump certainly knew in advance about Donnie and Jared's meeting with Russian agents is potentially more explosive... https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...ing-in-advance

He is now being pursued under the "Emoluments Law" after a Federal Judge decide to allow a Lawsuit to proceed !

I'm stating the obvious, of course, but I think the amount doesn't matter so much in this case, it's the misappropriation.

Flipping Cohen is going to prove to be very valuable for this investigation, that's for sure.

There is fraud in there though. They were in cahoots with (1) the lawyer that was supposed to be representing the women in their negotiations with the tabloid rags (2) in cahoots with the tabloid rags who were doing the whole 'catch and kill' scheme on Trump's behalf. No, his followers won't care but I think we need to stop worrying about what his followers do and don't care about --- they are a bullying minority and we all need to push back at them every single time. There are already civil lawsuits in progress and could potentially lead to criminal charges if they used campaign funds or if any of this can be viewed as campaign finance violations.

I'd also like to point out (for millionth time) the fact that we all have access to the internet and can find news articles all by our little self. Excessive link dumping without analysis really should be discouraged. And, "No comment!", followed by a link, is not analysis.

Who is the pregnant woman? If there is a Trump baby in the woodwork or if he paid her to have an abortion there could be fallout, despite how jaded his base is.

There are so many awesome candidates out there trying to win Democratic primaries like Cori Bush, Brent Welder, James Thompson, Abdul El-Sayed, Sarah Smith and Kerri Harris. But this guy is one of my favourites: Kaniela Ing who is trying to win in Hawaii. His new campaign ad is awesome.
