Perhaps I should have asked where it was that white cops shoot black people.

What's your problem with HRC? Not the email non-issue, I hope. She has the intelligence and experience for the role.

The email issue is an issue because it shows her contempt for rules. There are also plenty of issues related to the Clinton foundation, donations and her position in the government. Also she is the consummate establishment candidate and doesn't (imo) care about ordinary people anywhere.

When she was first lady investigators were still looking for documents relating to the Whitewater scandal (realestate swindle I think) in Arkansas from when Bill was Governor, and she couldn't produce them for quite some time, then a maid in the white house discovered them on a windowsill behind a curtain. Do you think it is possible to lose something in the white house on a windowsill behind a curtain? On the other hand a lot of good presidents have been scoundrels of one stripe or another.

That is hardly surprising seeing as they were clearly set up as concentration camps in which to herd - often thousands of miles from their ancestral homes - native Americans. This is similar to what the British did to Boers during the Boer War:

"The term concentration camp was first used by the British military during the Boer War (1899–1902)."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...s#South_Africa

Perhaps you mean they are not extermination camps in the Nazi mold. Although, of course, horrendous numbers of native Americans died on the way or in such camps.

Are they concentration camps today? No, given that residents are free to leave.

More recent examples of concentration camps in the US are the internment camps set up for Japanese-Americans during WWII.

Both Hillary and Bill Clinton were exonerated of any wrongdoing in the Whitewater "scandal". A number of others did go to jail though.

Guilty of what? Starr dug for years over Whitewater and was never able to find evidence to charge them. I think at the time it was the most expensive investigation ever so it was hardly for want of trying.

Maybe I'm biased because I liked Perot. He said in a radio interview "Why would you elect the corrupt governor of a bankrupt state to be president of a country in economic crisis?"

Here are some stats.

Patel is overwhelmingly the most common name for millionaires in the UK.

Also 20% of the 25 richest people in the UK are of Asian origin

Yes. Rather goes against amideislas assertion that "you'll find far more successful entrepreneurs, scientists, medical professionals, and politicians of colour in the US than in Europe".

It's only the police who are more racist in the US.

Or Mall Cops or what ever you want to call them.

Sorry just saw this.

There is no racism in the US.

Mississippi burning was loosely based on a true story and being a member of the KKK is no more disturbing than joining the brownies and selling cookies.

OK, so Lindsey Graham doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of the nomination, but I was somewhat comforted by a comment that he made yesterday, reported on radio here. Words to the effect that he would rather the Republicans lose the election than that Donald Trump become president.

Hang on, here's the quote:
"I'd rather lose without Donald Trump than try to win with him," Graham said. "I wish he would leave the party. I don't care if he runs as an independent. If we lose the 2016 election. So be it. ... I want to be in a category of 1% who said 'B.S., this is not who we are at a party, this is not who we are as a nation.'
