But in the geriatric fist-fight, will someone who will be older on taking office than Reagan was on leaving it after 2 terms put people off?

Is a vote for Biden a vote for Kamala.... so will she be the decider?

I doubt that anyone that was likely to vote for Biden before is put off by Harris, and that anyone leaning towards Trump is enticed to vote for Biden by Harris.

Except possibly whiny Bernie Bros who wanted Warren.

Is he anointing an effective successor if the ticket wins? Probably yes, but as we saw previously, it is something entirely different to get through your own primary then to run in a general against the other party.

Just watching him & Kamala on CBS giving a live talk. Thank god she just took over the podium as listening to him was sending me to sleep although I have been up since 4am and it is 30C outside. If I was a Murican which thank god I am not I cant say I would be inspired by todays performance. Anyhoo roll on November.

Almost every 70 something has a problematic history on race. Things have changed significantly in that time.

Actually I don't claim that as an original, a quick google found it.

I happen to think Trump IS racist, but that statement by itself does not mean that I think Biden isn't.
