£2,200 that a private donor paid in a fundraising auction for “breakfast on the bridge”. The document says: “It seems clear that, contractually, he is entitled to his breakfast or his money back.”
Oops......

I heard something on the radio earlier, it was the use of the term Muppet that drew me to look a bit deeper....

They'd much rather report vital things like that, or what May does in private with her mouldy jam. Nothing relevant, like this for instance
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...-a8778766.html

or even this
https://www.independent.co.uk/travel...-a8778676.html
... This will be the start of the process of Airbus quitting the UK. New technology on the way, No UK R&D or LT investment, and a poorly educated future workforce = Bye, Bye UK...
Nah, don't report it too much, let's discuss litter bins or plastic bags.

Oh, dear.

This poor sap not only swallowed the lies, he was instrumental in propagating them. And now he regrets it.

I swallowed the Brexit lies. Now I regret telling curry house workers to vote leave

The Daily Express reckons Brexit's to blame for the collapse of FlyBMI :
Current trading and future prospects have also been seriously affected by the uncertainty created by the Brexit process, which has led to our inability to secure valuable flying contracts in Europe and lack of confidence around BMI's ability to continue flying between destinations in Europe
Britain's regional airline CANCELS all flights after collapse

From BMI's own website...

The airline has faced several difficulties, including recent spikes in fuel and carbon costs, the latter arising from the EU’s recent decision to exclude UK airlines from full participation in the Emissions Trading Scheme. These issues have undermined efforts to move the airline into profit. Current trading and future prospects have also been seriously affected by the uncertainty created by the Brexit process, which has led to our inability to secure valuable flying contracts in Europe and lack of confidence around bmi’s ability to continue flying between destinations in Europe
