OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT no deal plans will turn M20 into a giant car park.
Source the G , no the Brexit supporting Torygraph.
Getting us ready for a " no deal " as proposed by Farage and co..

Ah - but that's better than a "bad deal" - imagine what that would be like!

Great twitterstorm here from a doctor Rachel Clarke who responded to a Farage tweet...

Doctor destroys Nigel Farage for calling medical association a 'disgrace' for no-deal Brexit warning

I reproduce the entire twitter stream here as it has been widely disseminated on social media - apologies if it breaks any rules...

“Disgraceful is an NHS hospice forced to close a *third* of its beds because some its nurses - wonderful, extraordinarily kind individuals - feel so unwelcome now in Britain they have been driven home to Spain, Portugal, Italy etc. 2/n

Disgraceful is the racism, abuse & hate unleashed by your foul & toxic referendum campaign - and, in particular, the racism towards EU staff we have witnessed, post referendum, in my own NHS hospital. 3/n

Disgraceful is dying patients trapped in their homes, in desperate need of an NHS hospice bed, who I cannot treat - because the beds are closed - because EU nurses have been driven away by post-Brexit hate. 4/n

Disgraceful is having to look a World War Two veteran in the eyes, as he weeps and trembles with relief that at last - at last - a hospice bed became available for his dying, desperate wife. 5/n

Disgraceful is an NHS *already* short of 40k nurses and 10k doctors, yet haemorrhaging more daily thanks to the hateful impact of Brexit. 6/n

Disgraceful is the staggering - and sustained - 96% reduction in applications to the NHS from EU nurses since the referendum. 7/n

Disgraceful is people like you whipping up the hate that has caused all this misery - then trolling doctors like me who bear witness to its horrible, inhumane fallout, every day at work. 8/n

So, Mr Farage, next time you talk about disgrace, and seek to denigrate doctors like me, wash your mouth out and wind your neck in. 9/n

Because patients are vulnerable - so incredibly vulnerable. And if you really were a man of the people, as opposed to the racist demagogue you are, you would show some goddamn humility about the human cost of what you’ve done. 10/10 ends

And incidentally, @Nigel_Farage, if you want to debate the facts pertaining to Brexit and the NHS, please invite me onto your show to do so, rather than making ad hominem attacks on my profession. @LBC”

Or, heavens forfend, staying as things were - with jackbooted EU officials forcing the UK to accept their rules, drive on the right, accept the Euro, speak Esperanto, eat straight bananas and accept 100 million fecund, shiftless, criminal immigrants taking all the jobs, houses, schools and hospitals - whilst demanding £350 million a minute for the privilege.....

But leaving the EU which was what it was about is apparently now not good enough for some brexiters.,.

Ever the opportunist, hoping to take advantage of the chaos and divisions in the country he helped cause to grab a bit of limelight and maybe a job (despite his 75,000 pounds a year EU pension). The man is contemptible.

Eurowords are against the rules. We want our country back, remember? It is going to make ordering food in a lot of restaurants very tricky though.

I thought he was supposed to be going to the rescue of the rest of the EU, after he's finished touring Oz and NZ, where he's due to tell them what a roaring success Brexit is and how they, too, can Take Back Control.

Bob reckons the EU won't allow a no deal - at least not without a pause for thought
“If the government can negotiate a good deal, then so be it. But if they can’t and we end up in this position, then we have to reopen the question of whether we go forward with Brexit at all. It is not too late to do that.

“A pause to reflect would certainly be necessary. I think that is a pretty high probability now.

“But I think that pause would need to include – and I suspect this would be insisted on by the commission – some re-examination of the decision itself.”
No-deal Brexit may force rethink of vote - ex-civil service head

I'm actually quite (pleasantly) surprised he said that.
