You didn't bother to look. It's public record. Not a secret. But you already knew for sure that it was fake news. You do that a lot. Things that are factual, public record, you dismiss as remainiac rubbish. And that's your confirmation bias.

No, they just think it was a majority - which it was. The referendum did not require an overwhelming majority, just a simple one.

It is strange how those words changed from "could" to "would" isn't it? Almost like some sort of fake news.

And should those very same Brexiteers push the UK off the cliff, the resulting chaos would no doubt provide all the political fuel to support an independence referendum in Scotland, and a reunification referendum in Ireland. And it's much easier for northern Ireland, since the wouldn't have the burden of rejoining the EU, as Scotland would.
There will be no chaos, trade will continue, life will go on. Just shy of 40% of Scots voted to leave the EU, so it's hardly a fringe opinion there.

It's a very dangerous game the UK is playing with itself. And like you, they seem to be ignoring the known risks and consequences. It's not "project fear". Their own analyses (though rosy coloured as much as possible) illustrate the same serious risks. But ignored. Brilliant.
Analysis has to looks at all the risks and hazards and potential pitfalls, the key is applying a likelihood to those - there's a risk of a comet wiping out all life on earth, but the likelihood in our lifetimes is miniscule.

I did look, but only found articles on the subject quoting 3,000 but not saying where the figure came from.

Saying "it's a public record" means zilch and just showed you didn't know where it came from either.

Odd you call the 40% who voted remain as NOT a fringe but the majority party you refer to as a fringe.
Do make your mind up what you mean by fringe.

Where has EMR supported tax-funded bailouts of private banks?

Of course you can legislate against the conditions that arise from lax regulation, inspection and enforcement.
Yes, but unless that legislation is enforced with real penalties, nothing will change. But it should change.

You asked where it came from. I said "public record". As it turns out, it originated in the public record.

Again?

Have we got the links to the public record of how great Brexit will be yet? Or is it that fantasy from "Economists for Free Trade" about how no deal is worth 1.1 trillion to the UK over 15 years?

It's a fringe party in the UK where it sits in Parliament - garnering 3% of the vote.

The difference between most of you lot and me is that I'm big enough to admit it - you found a credible source for the number. Ami however states "public record" which means nothing - that the Loch Ness Monster is alive and well will be in the "public record".

So what was the alternative, a global recession even deeper than the one we had.
The savers in the banks losing their money..
Even more losing homes , employment and business. lost or going bust.
It's easy to criticise when you do not have an alternative..
Life is about realistic solutions , unsavoury as they might be not just political rhetoric...
Under the likes of Corbyn we would probably have ended up in the same state as, Greece, Argentina or Venezuala.., fortunately we had Gordon Brown whose management of crisis has received widespread support and praise....

There you go, Dave.

You couldn't ask for a more solid affirmation that he believes in the privatisation of profits and the nationalisation of debts

I can't imagine why people keep accusing him of being a lefty
