But OK, we voted for it. Now live with it.

I get what you mean. I don't live there anymore anyway, so I don't really have to live with it as such, but in the end, we still don't have to like it.

Well, neither Germany nor Britain have done so far, and the eurozone is now on far better footing than it was in 2008, so that's unlikely. Germany actually has an export economy, so the UK (80% service economy) is likely to suffer a bit more than Germany.

What should boys do who are sent to Eton by their wealthy parents? Run away from home? Shoot the parents?

Absolute tosh.

I doubt if Putin cares a toss. The EU will never rival Russia for power as claimed.
It is far too disjointed, fragmented and indecisive and therefore a threat to no one except itself.
The only thing Putin respects is NATO,probably the only reason peace has been maintained since WW2.

Having listened to some interviews from the London area, I certainly got the impression that most Remainers haven't got a clue what Brexit is all about. They got their orders to vote remain based on a small amount of incorrect prejudicial information and that's about all they knew.

I'm going to start a poll on how many times you can say "absolute tosh" in one day.

Yes, I may have grew up in a corner of the UK where we had our own unique brand of problems, but when it came down to it, I still got the sense that we were all 'in it together', especially in the post 'ceasefire' years as I reached adulthood.

Leaving the EU like this, over fear of intangibles - that isn't the Britain that was once the most powerful nation on the planet. It is weak, cowardly. Again, just disappointing.

"Colonial immigrants"? Haven't heard them called that for a while! Or was it a euphemism for 'coloured' immigrants?
"The most powerful nation on the planet"!
The first came from the second. After independence and being able to keep their own assets many actually thought they would be welcome in the 'mother country' --and many did welcome them.

If it helps you get over your obvious after Brexit frustration, please feel free to do so.

You completely (and predictably) misunderstood my entire post. Wonderful job, there.

But you can be assured that I will do everything I can to counter and clean up the stream of xenophobic filth that has flowed over the country.
