Post EU Referendum
#9526

You're doing 12 year olds a great disservice, there. Even a 12 year old understands the sovereignty of the British Parliament and what the term 'advisory referendum' means.

Eh? Nobody blamed poor nigey-wigey for the LieBus. We all know that was Boris, Gisela & Co.

Of course it was Boris, it was a London bus. Wasn't he Lord mayor? Nige would have used a billboard.

What I want to know is what was on the back of the bus? Maybe it was a big sign saying "SUCKERS!!"

Gerard Lyons, co-chair at Economists for Brexit, says Yes.
The UK’s big challenge is that we talk ourselves into an unnecessary downturn. Across the globe, people read constant negative comments from UK economists and politicians. The fact they were wrong before the EU referendum doesn’t seem to bother them.
Despite this, many global firms are seeing through this, and with sterling cheap, are choosing to invest here. They are right to do so. Brexit is a great opportunity to reposition the UK, driven by a free trade agenda and a bespoke UK-EU deal.

a bespoke UK-EU deal
LEAVING THE EUROPEAN UNION, is obviously mean ending the single market bollocks even you know that,
The whole 'idea' of leave is exactly that (LEAVE) cut all ties, and get on with it. - what's the problem? like i said a long time ago many other countries blossom with out that crap that is the SINGLE MARKET.

Leave was end all ties, goodbye Brussels (no more authority or any say on the matter to the UK)

This is where the UK financial sector is moving towards. The UK government seems to make excellent decisions.

Real change in our relationship with the European Union
Our commitment to you:
For too long, your voice has been ignored on Europe. We will:
give you a say over whether we should stay in or leave the EU, with an in-out referendum by the end of 2017
commit to keeping the pound and staying out of the Eurozone
reform the workings of the EU, which is too big, too bossy and too bureaucratic
reclaim power from Brussels on your behalf and safeguard British interests in the Single Market
back businesses to create jobs in Britain by completing ambitious trade deals and reducing red tape.

What a perfect example of Nigel's predictions coming to pass.
What a shame Merkel and co didn't pay attention to those warnings of the effects of uncontrolled immigration.
Now too late in the day they are desperately trying to work out a damage limitation exercise which involves many of those migrants who took her at her word now facing deportation.
What a perfect example of yet another cataclysmic Eu cock up.
