Boris has now declared that immigrants from the EU is a GOOD THING.. and he can't see anything wrong with it.(As those of us with a modicum of sense already knew) .

Unlike the inside of his brain which is a BAD THING because it obviously consists of a pea on a piece of elastic...

The Foreign Secretary has denied telling four ambassadors he supported freedom of movement, telling Sky: "I said no such thing."

Boris Johnson said he had told the ambassadors during a breakfast meeting that immigration had been a good thing for the UK but denied supporting EU freedom of movement rules

Boris Johnson denies freedom of movement comments

Boris denied it. Maybe he's lied. Who knows.
He's a buffoon who should never have been appointed FS.
Albeit easy targets, the musings of Boris do not negate the brexit argument.

Remainers point to the Govts missed overall immigration targets and tell us not to blame the EU. Ok, I don't. Failures on overall immigration is not a brexit issue, but EU immigration IS. Whatever the reasons for missed targets, a sovereign Govt should define it's own immigration policy.

"Boris Johnson denies..."

Not a very promising start is it, given his history of telling porkies?

It has, immigration to be reduced to less than 100,000 year.
Thats all immigration EU and non EU.
Who believes it will ever happen assuming the UK economy does not return to the stone age.

You didn't read my post. I was not defending the Govts immigration targets.
They may or may not be realistic - that is not my point.
My point IS that the UK Govt should be solely responsible for implementing it's own immigration policy, including EU immigration.

It will be, but it does not look like it will get anywhere close to satisfying many who voted brexit.
