Dick, everything in the express begins with "fury" and/or "outrage".
It's to inspire people like you to have "fury" and "outrage" for even the pettiest of things (presuming the issue the be "outraged" over even exists in the first place, which, in the case of British tabloids, isn't always the case).

You need to keep up.
The sum the Uk now pays the Eu has gone up just as Leavers forecast, and is now in the region 365 million a week.
The Eu could quite easily take the exact sum it needs to keep itself in the lap of luxury,
but there again it wouldn't be able to use the refund which it controls for propaganda purposes.
Many Remoaners actually still believe it is an Eu handout and still aren't bright enough to figure out whose money it was in the first place.
All pretty well typical of the fraudulent Eu project as a whole, which would never even have got of the ground if people had been smart enough to figure out in the first place that the main purpose was to pull the wool over their eyes and create a Dictatorial Superstate.
Fortunately the penny is now beginning to drop as concern and unrest becomes increasingly obvious throughout member countries.

Wild negative remoaner speculation is totally pointless.

The party is democratically elected. The government is assembled by the PM. What do you feel about the government cutting deals without consulting the democratically elected Parliament? We don't vote for the PM remember? We vote for local MPs to represent our interests. How do they do that if they are not consulted?

Decisions of such importance should not be made by government alone.

Here's an idea; perhaps it would be "democratic" if we waited until we have a "Democratically elected British Govt". But maybe not.

However yes others are guilty of it.
But most of this attitude on numerous threads can be traced back to Oct 2012

Each country's payment is divided into three parts: a fixed percentage of gross national income (GNI), customs duties collected on behalf of the EU (known as "traditional own resources") and a percentage of VAT income.
The GNI-based contribution is the largest part of each country's payment and is set each year by the EU to balance the budget.
There is one other important part of the revenue calculations: the UK rebate, which returns to the UK two-thirds of its payments.
This rebate is paid for by the other 26 countries as a fixed amount of their gross national income.

We only actually elect MP's, every 5yrs. The leader (elected by party members) of the party with the most MP's is invited to form a government (by an unelected monarch).
The Prime Minister chooses their cabinet from their party's MP's, none of which has to have any experience of their Ministry's area of expertise. In many cases, it's a case of a cabinet position for those who support the PM.
The PM was also previously responsible for proposing candidates to the House of Lords, before the formation of the (unelected) Lords Appointment Commission.
Yet the EU is undemocratic because each PM nominates an EU Commissioner (who is confirmed (or not) by MEP's), each member state's PM (or relevant cabinet minister) represents that country on the EU Council of Ministers, and MEP's are elected every 5yrs.
There really isn't that much difference between UK democracy, and the EU's. And the UK is well-represented in the latter.
Wild negative remoaner speculation is totally pointless.

Would that be a Government formed by a party with a sizeable majority composed of MP's who were elected by a majority of their electorate and not just those with the largest vote in a constituency?

Erm, this is a very different government with a very different agenda than the one that was voted into office.

It doesn't matter when it started, who started it, or why. This is TIO, and shit happens. There's a note on the forum front page which says,
Take it Outside!
Please keep all political, religious and other controversial topics in here. The discussions may become heated, so enter at your own risk!

I was going to make a sarky comment here, but that would be hypocritical of me.

Yet you still can't resist a dig at EMR.

If Leavers want to keep up the insults, name-calling and sly digs, carry on, but don't then whine when it's done by Remainers.

If a govt alters policies or doesn't live up to its promises then the electorate have the option to throw them out.
Shame the same option doesn't apply to the Eu.
