Fareham, Hampshire

I mentioned it about 20 pages back as well.

The deal is final.
The savings do appear to be substantial (140 million pounds), unless the government is lying.
The 70 new jobs are stated as a future outcome when the work starts.

I'm at a loss as to why you feel this is BS and why you are not happy.

If it comes to that it's not final that anyone's job at De La Fue is at risk, either. In fact, the only statements coming from that company say that no jobs are at risk. This, too, should make you happy.

Sanity is not the key element on this thread.

A microcosm of Brexit itself.

So this petition on safeguarding jobs were for jobs which may only be at risk in 18 months time.

During which time, the company may have ssources other work to keep those jobs.

I've never seen a country running so hard to stand still.

What a waste of time, energy and resources.

Joshua Tree is good stuff. In fact, I haven't like anything they have done since as much. I think they peaked.

When you become the biggest band in the world overnight it's hard to top it. I still like the later stuff but just not as much.
