I don’t care if you lived in Germany for two decades and didn’t notice or experience xenophobia there (cue laughter). I did not say xenophobia exists in Mallorca, did I? I said it exists in Spain. And there you go again blaming Brits on nightly mayhem, violence and deaths. (Hey, is this this quaint little place called Mallorca you’re talking about?) You talk as if budget tourist German drunks don’t exist on Mallorca.

You don’t have to tell me about living in rural area. The only difference is where I lived there was no nightly mayhem, violence and deaths. DEATHS???!!! Just where the hell are you living?

Give it up, all this ‘my place is better than yours’ stuff. Everyone knows Mallorca is a shithole of sleaze and decadence.

Your long-winded anti-British attacks are boring. You really do have a problem with Brits, don’t you? Pity you're one yourself. Bet you hate that. Goodnight, and take care to lock your door tonight.

I rarely lock the doors. No need.

Anyway, sorry it offends you, but it's actually how it really is, rather than what you want to believe.

Nighty night.

I didn't say it was. I just thought the photo was mildly amusing - hence the reference to someone "having a bit of fun" and the .

Sourpuss.

Miserable isn't he?

I enjoy his posts though - always remind me how glad I am I'm not a leaver.

... But some here think anything that diverts from their ranting agenda is irrelevant R.E.

At least he didn't use that 'haters gonna hate' shit.

Which brings me to Cape Blue. Does he read every post as some kind of hate, in the same way la mancha reads them as anti-British?

You mean believing in the future of a prosperous UK within or very close to the EU in the 21st century rather than living in the past and harking after lost glories.
The recently announced transition agreement also confirms that our future relies as much on the EU as anywhere else in the world.

When did I rant? I'll happily admit I have an agenda, which is to be able to help support my family as much as possible. Short-term,I believe remaining a national of an EU member state gives me the best possible outcome.

You hold views contrary to that of the Brexit camp. And that decidedly makes you a "ranting remaniac". And that's a bloody good reason for them to endlessly rant about it, since they lost the plot long ago, and need someone to blame for it.

... I don't think they hate as such DLD, it's more a fearful reaction - you know, they've had an ordered life in peace & good times - In certainty if you like.

Things that were drummed into them and they’ve never needed to question.
Now they see everything they took as unchangeable being washed away like a sandcastle, and it frightens them. Genuinely, they’re frightened of change, which produces their attitudes and aggressions.

Outmoded and marginalised they see everything as a threat.

Yes, I'm scratching my head to remember when it was I last had a bit of a rant, too.

Been subjected to a few, though. Apparently I'm a Brit-hating, sneering, bile-spitting, bigoted, cynical, superior remainiac. And that's just what I can remember from the end of last week.

Oh - is that an insult?

I thought it was a compliment.

Point of information. Can one sneer and spit at the same time?
