'…business experts and managers value Spain more and more negative (corruption), since 2012, in the aforementioned index. They had never valued us (Spain) as low, as in this past year of 2017.'

'…from being ranked 13 in the European Union (2000), from least to most corrupt, we went to be the 20th.'

'The government does not take the fight against corruption seriously enough, nor do the political parties and parliamentary groups.'

About the same as this post of yours on this thread yesterday.

‘Nazi Germany that had its sympathisers and accomplices at the highest levels in British society.’

That fact is s relevant to the history of the UK whereas your anti Spain rants have nothing to do with the UK or brexit.

You know, if there was an eighth wonder of the world it would be called EMR. People would wonder how you get through the day.

At least you are good for a laugh.

I never said there wasn't any corruption. But there's a big clampdown going on (for the past decade), and even Brits are being arrested (see recent Magaluf arrests). And really, I'm not sure anywhere is free of it. OK, maybe the UK, but again, that's a fantasy.

Still, it's a completely different ballgame than a decade ago, and although you'd like to believe otherwise, the fact remains that this stuff is very very risky now. Certainly nothing like what you'd like to believe.

Anyway, things are getting better all the time. And have been for a long time. Hardly the widespread impoverished third-world hellhole you like to pretend it is to rationalise that gigantic mistake you just made.

An opinion piece in El Pais only reflects the views the author wants reflected. And it merely states the according to the citizens consulted, the perception of corruption has increased.

The negative perception of the EU by some in the UK has increased with the help of certain media. It doesn't make that perception correct though, does it? Some Brits still think the EU has rules on bendy bananas, no matter how much you show them their perception is based on a lie.

Better to be thought good for a laugh that pitied as a bitter and twisted refugee from a failed life experience in Spain.

It's self-explanatory as it stands, but Eric's usual tedious ad-hom is playing the man not the ball as usual - you and he are ad-hom brothers in arms.

Whereas labelling all remainers either leftists, social justice warriors and virtue-signallers or well-off rightists is a perfectly serious post.

You're a troll.

Very true, I should have said:

Remain is predominantly an alliance between the virtue-signalling social justice warrior leftists and the done very well out of it rightists.
