Are you talking about yourself, you elite, right wing, landlord so called remain voter..

When did you suddenly become a man of the people, a spokesman for the lower orders.

Correct.

Here's David Davis on that subject :

So be under no doubt: we can do deals with our trading partners, and we can do them quickly. I would expect the new Prime Minister on September 9th to immediately trigger a large round of global trade deals with all our most favoured trade partners. I would expect that the negotiation phase of most of them to be concluded within between 12 and 24 months.

So within two years, before the negotiation with the EU is likely to be complete, and therefore before anything material has changed, we can negotiate a free trade area massively larger than the EU. Trade deals with the US and China alone will give us a trade area almost twice the size of the EU, and of course we will also be seeking deals with Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, India, Japan, the UAE, Indonesia – and many others.
https://www.conservativehome.com/pla...r-britain.html

Mind you, he has since then "clarified" that at a Brexit Select Committee session :

Hilary Benn: But, just for the record, you did actually write, ‘I would expect the new Prime Minister, on September the 9th 2016, to immediately trigger a large round of global trade deals. I would expect that the negotiation phase of most of them would be concluded within 12-24 months.’ So, two years. Just for the record, that was two years from 2016.

David Davis: What date was that [written]? I think that was before I was a minister.

Hilary Benn: Just before you were a minister.

David Davis: Right, so that was then, this is now! Ha, ha, ha, ha!
After the Brexit Committee this morning, I think it’s safe to say David Davis should never be allowed to speak in public again | The Independent

No need to personalise the discussion EMR.

Feel free to argue against my premise.

Funny comment from Stewart Lee, comedian.

On 10 May 2016, in the closing days of the Brexit campaign, at an impromptu speech in Cornwall, lying Boris Johnson again invoked the Brexiters’ foundation myth that the EU sought to ban bendy bananas. But voters who backed leaving the EU in order to get back the bendy bananas, which had not been taken off them anyway, must surely now be wondering, privately, if it was all worth it.

It wasn't me that got the quotes messed up in the first place - I've no idea how EMR made such a mess of them.

I'm very liberal on many things, but I fail to see what my personal leanings are to do with the price of fish.

Not according to today’s data. Taken from El Pais a few days ago. They may be in jail but the perpetrators of today’s corruption will be in court next year or the following years when their corrupt ways are found out. How can you say 'that time is long gone' with any principle? Many Brits lost their life savings and had to move back to the UK with nothing because with the aid of crooked builders, lawyers and town halls, they bought illegal or non-existent properties in Spain. Could you look them in the eye and say ‘that time is long gone’? Not for them it isn’t. It burns deep. Off-topic, I know, but let us call it what it is.

'…Spain, according to the citizens consulted in the Eurobarometers, is the country in Europe in which more has increased the perception of corruption since 2008...'

'…business experts and managers value Spain more and more negative (corruption), since 2012, in the aforementioned index. They had never valued us (Spain) as low, as in this past year of 2017.'

'…from being ranked 13 in the European Union (2000), from least to most corrupt, we went to be the 20th.'

'The government does not take the fight against corruption seriously enough, nor do the political parties and parliamentary groups.'
