Is YouGov in the habit of conducting polls commissioned by the Guardian, by the way?

If the Daily Mail talked about a YouGov poll of 1600 people commissioned by UKIP saying how there should be no more migration at all you'd laugh your socks off, yet you lap up this sort of one because it feeds your bias in the remainiac bubble.

ps - I'm flattered you are writing down my expected responses, perhaps you could collate them into a greatest hits?

If UKIP commissioned a "poll" would you call that "research"?

1,600 people via a pressure-group. Do come on.

The pressure group commissioned the poll, which was undertaken by YouGov, a respectable polling organisation.

1600 people will have been randomly selected based on differences in age, gender, party politics (and lack of), and other factors. You could commission your own poll as well for about £10-20k

Did UKIP manage to stop imploding long enough to commission such a poll?

Yes, but the issue is the questions polled - "would you accept some migration from the EU as access to the single market so your children don't starve and we don't end up in a dystopian hell-hole"? - the polling organisation ask the questions their masters give them.

Whereas you would suggest that the Yougov poll commissioned by Ukip vindicated your
Views on immigration and were an expression of the majority view in the UK.
It feeds your bias in the anti migrant bubble.

I doubt it, unless we start drifting towards a BINO softy I suspect they're done. They burned brightly in their time, but their time is fading.

Europeans leaving is a bit of a blanket statement. Skilled immigration will be kept, mass immigration will be stopped. We voted for an aussie/nz type points system not a Trump wall stopping everyone

Do you seriously want a debate/discussion, or are you going to make childish jabs like the question above?

Not at all, I would consider UKIP a clearly biased organisation. Some of us are not ideologues.

In think the Ashcroft exit poll is likely to be one of the more reasonable analysis of intent as they got people just after they voted and it was north of 12,000 they polled.

So you would not agree with those polled ?
Your views on migration , benefit claimants, the lower orders, make ideologues look like liberals.

Merely pointing-out that the commissioning organisation sets the questions, not the polling company. If that commissioning org is "Best for Britain" it might lean one way with the type of question, if it was UKIP it might lean another way.

Which poll?

My views are a bit socialist for liberals I guess.

You a socialist, it's not April 1st,
But then you still think you voted remain despite being one of our most hard line brexiters.
Latest immigration figures show they continue to grow albeit at a slower rate.
Even though there are fewer from eastern Europe.

We voted to leave the EU - nothing more, nothing less.

Very true, a points system was not on the voting skip and I cannot recall when was the last time it was proposed by anyone in government.
