To my knowledge, that's correct. I don't think it's by choice though. The South Korean compounds are very heavily guarded for obvious reasons. It's the one country that absolutely can't turn any North Korean away.

The plural of anecdote isn't data. If I slap a plastic horn on a horse it might actually seem to be a unicorn if it's convenient.

So then you detain them until you get to the bottom of it. The reason why the situation in Europe has become so desperate is because Europe makes it so easy for people to take the piss.

But we also know that the UK has turned away North Koreans that have arrived via South Korea.

So you are not happy with the rise in exports to the EU and the benefit to British companies involved.

One can be against the refugees coming into the country for various reasons, some quite valid. But on an individual basis if someone separated from their family, or unable to give their children a better life, yes I see and understand lots of reasons why some of the refugees or migrants will break immigration rules- and probably you would to under similar circumstances, in particular if one has children. Yes there is an excuse for it, called putting your family first.

So, we have gone full circle. Part 1: Between 5000 & 9000 per day are forcing they're way through your territory, how & where do you detain that lot, against their will, and for how long.
Hint - László Petra was villified around the world for trying to help the police detain an evasive migrant.

Part 2: The Royal Navy, acting under orders from the British PM, picks up several thousand migrants in the Med. and dumps them on the Italians - & that's the fault of the Europeans?

It's just so easy when you sit the other side of the water, isn't it?

Finally, why are North Korean refugees acceptable to you when others aren't? It's not as if the peninsula is an active war zone.

Have they? I've never seen any cases of anyone even trying to do that tbh.

Because they're the only ones who didn't bring their current situation upon themselves.

Well yes because that's what the Europeans agreed to at the time. If they actually cared about the preservation of their own countries then they would have fought for a deal that worked more in their favour.

Sorry, do you have any links? Because Google just came up with a bunch of fake news stories and cases of China deporting people.

So no external influences have ever been brought to bear in, for example, the near East & Africa?

Are you really sure you want to stand by that statement?
