We have the " brave new world from Boris " and Davis off the record figure that the UK will propose as a payment.
All this a few days before Mays landmark speech.
Conspiracy or setting the scene in advance, we shall see ?

Just going by the last few days, Bipat, la mancha, Golden Years, Vexcore, Garbatellamike, olivefarmer and morpeth, at the very least, seem to disagree with that assessment.

I suppose it depends on your definition of "remoaner" though. Am I one?

Well, so much for the fall in the pound since the referendum being good for exports and jobs.

Why did anyone ever think that business would ever do anything but whatever maximizes their profit? The boards and shareholders, internationally, care not at all about who works in which country, migrants, flags, passport colour, or anyone " taking their country back".

Nice to see the pound go up as a direct consequence of Junckers speech. ( The BBC claimed it was Carney suggesting interest rates might have to rise! What do they know.)

From a major UK FX trader:-

The pound’s certainly been the currency to watch this week as markets have rushed to price in the prospect of monetary tightening faster than previously expected. Despite holding interest rates unchanged, the Bank of England yesterday indicated that rate rises will be appropriate sooner than previously forecast. As a result, sterling’s surged and is on track for the best weekly performance for years. Whether the Bank of England follow through with their hints on rate rises is another question, but the market’s certainly buying into that belief this week.

Not to mention, the pound actually lost a bit after Juncker's speech. And if Theresa May's speech is anything like Boris' latest delusional outburst, you can expect the pound to take a other hit. It historically always does whenever UK leadership expresses more delusional rhetoric suggesting a crash out.

The question was to Vino actually, seeing as it was he who played the trump card this time, but go on then.

You think I'm a "remoaner" - could you retrieve any examples of me doing any moaning during the last few weeks or months?

Can you quote any examples of Eric actually moaning about anything.........

Calling someone a moaner actually says more about those doing the labelling than those being labelled...

moʊnər )
Word forms: moaners
countable noun
If you refer to someone as a moaner, you are critical of them because they often complain about things.
[informal , disapproval]
Film critics are dreadful moaners.
