I heard an interview with Vince Cable who claimed that during the time of the coalition government there were a number of studies into the effect of immigration on the UK economy and infrastructure.
These studies pointed to only positive contributions ,however May blocked publication when Home Secretary.
These reports obviously still exist however I will be suprised if these are " leaked !!".

It is obvious to all that immigration from mutiple world countries has been essential to the UK economy and much else.
Most people would agree that free -movement from the entire world is not a good idea.
So Post Brexit some form of rules/restrictions on work/settlement etc. as happens in most of the countries of the world is necessary.
Post Brexit this can be flexible--according to need and the rules are not fixed but can be changed.

Again, you could've found that out for yourself.
The first point, which you skimmed over, is that there are a number of issues that must be resolved before going into full "reform" mode. One of which is Brexit, another is the elections.
Yet, it's all acknowledged, every stakeholder has their views, and eventually, there will be agreements. Because, well, there's little other choice, really.
In fact, Britain could really benefit from acknowledging reality at the moment. But that wouldn't be very British, would it?
In the mean time, life in the EU isn't particularly intolerable. In fact, it's improving steadily. Pity the same can't be said for Britain.

Lord Wallace has 'alleged' similar suppression of reports, and both were in the Coalition government at the time.
I doubt a party leader would make unsubstantiated allegations against another, it'd be political suicide.
Yes, we know the PM's 'spokesperson' has denied the allegations, but May's motive for doing so is not hard to fathom...

Vince Cable alleges that the Home Secretary blocked the reports. Vince Cable is a 'rampant' Remainer and has made some peculiar remarks lately (and I say that as a LibDem member--at least still on the books as such)!

In hope the reports are genuinely leaked unlike today contrived leak.

Most reports go by reported headline statistics, but few choose to wade through the actual data to check whether the headlines are valid - and, as we all know, it's all about the interpretation.
