If I need money now, I'm going to dispose of some of my assets now. I can't always wait a month or a year for the market to give me a better rate. And if the market knows I'm desperate to sell, they're going to take advantage of my situation and low-ball.

Strange, but immediately ''Desperate for deals May'' came into my head

Anyone who desperately needs help will turn to whoever is willing to help them. If loan sharks, payday lenders or the DUP are the only ones willing, you take what you can get THEN ask what it's going to cost you.

And a bent banana trade deal might bring in immigrants from there. Actually, most new trade deals with commonwealth countries will probably involve immigrants (eg, look at India) ...

But an American, living in London, cannot appeal to the US Supreme Court as they have no jurisdiction in the UK.
Why should an EU citizen, also living in London, be able to appeal to the European Court of Justice as they should have no jurisdiction in the UK?

After Brexit maybe. Who knows.. If that is part of the deal.. However it is unlikely to be.. The USA did not join a consortium of countries and agree to abide by the rules laid down at the time of signing. i.e. that the European court would protect all EU citizens rights wherever they are living

It will be a contentious issue in the negotiations for sure - no way of knowing how it will turn out just yet

The latest 'snafoo' according to the FT (which i cannot print on here ) is that Government Depts have disintegrated into different factions and are no longer speaking to each other. So bad that Theresa May has had to approach Donald Tusk to ask for help--

Brussels is reported to have sent over a 'team' to London.Members of said team being dispersed amongst the depts to help them negotiate with each other....what? If this is true its beyond a Cl**** F**k Anyone heard this yet?

What EU laws the ones that affect our growers of citrus fruits and olives.
Or do you mean that standardise those that allow British companies to sell in the EU to agreed specifications and standards.
What laws have negatively affected you ?

Or how about the *EU LAWS* that stop us from fishing in certain waters? (that are ours anyway)

or... the eu telling us what to do ? (no country should tell us what to do) that's one of the reasons why BREXIT won.

You don't see Australia telling new Zealand what to do... do ya?

If I thought for one minute you were being serious I would be concerned about your mental health.
No one stops us fishing in our waters, we share them just as other nations in the EU share theirs.
The UK fishing industry relies on exports to the EU because we do not eat much of what is caught.
You need to buy a new atlas if you think that Aus and NZ are remotely close to each other.
