I was equating it with the anti-immigrant/foreigner.
Your description "They treat you like sh**t". What is the difference? It is dislike of the 'stranger'.
If I misunderstood your post perhaps you will explain?

You keep hammering on with this "equal rules for all" line if you want. Obviously you're going to be able to claim that is what has happened eventually if you're going to be as inconsistent as you have been in your reasoning so far. Strange, though - I thought you said you'd studied law. Lawyers are normally more precise in their usage of language.
None of us know what the final outcome will be. Probably both Remainers and Brexiters will be disappointed, there never is a 'perfect' solution.
I was just pointing out visa 'possibilities' and that are used by other countries--not sure how that is "reasoning"?

I was using the term both out of politeness and for lack of a better one, though the use of quotes as above would perhaps have been better.

There certainly isn't much reasoning in calling for a system of equal rules for all alongside an equally clear statement that "certainly there should be a different system for people coming from near countries for temporary work".

(Have you something against people coming from far countries for temporary work )

I have pointed out that obviously most of the applicants for seasonal work will be from near countries so therefore a separate visa will be used mostly by them.

If you read my above post I pointed out the circumstances that people from far countries might apply for short term temporary work.
Also that other countries have different visas for different circumstances that are not related to nationality or country of origin.

No need for politeness the wording was not precise.

The UK already has different visas, aside from EU freedom of movement, which definitely are related to nationality and country of origin.

And it may well have a formal arrangement with the EU in future which gives preferential treatment to citizens of EU member states for some classes of visa.

Your continual arguing against this second point is puzzling to me.

Which visas were you thinking of related to nationality? Yes obviously visitor visa etc. vary for different countries.
We are discussing entry visas for long stay/ immigration/work.

Why should certain countries have preference because they are members of the EU when the UK is not a member of the EU?
I agree this may happen as part of 'the deal' but ask you why you think it should?

It's celebrating the 2017 UK Independence Day. Have we left the EU already?

“Dare to dream that the dawn is breaking on an independent United Kingdom.

Are we not independent yet then? Why are Westmonster celebrating Independence Day then?

If there is to be such a 'thing' as an 'Independence Day', shouldn't it be the day that the EU is finally rid of the lazy, whiny UK?

The words "your continual arguing against---- is puzzling to me", indicates Eric agrees with it happening.

My reply --- "why do you think it should" -----is "putting words in peoples mouth"? Can you explain how you come to that conclusion?
