Good point, Dick. Fleets of refrigerated vehicles full of free frozen fish sent out into the bush of sub-saharan Africa, Afghanistan and Nepal, why ever didn't the EU think of that ?

That, and then there's this:
Brexit economy: living standards are falling as the snap election looms rising prices, sluggish wage growth and a mood of uncertainty among employers as the UK heads to the polls |

EU trade commissioner says bloc will do post-Brexit free trade deal with UK 'for sure'
"The European Union will strike a free trade deal with the United Kingdom after Brexit “for sure”, the bloc's trade commissioner has said in a major boost for Theresa May. Mrs May has previously said she would be willing to walk away from Brexit negotiations without securing a deal if Brussels sought to punish the UK by imposing unfair trade tariffs. But Cecilia Malmstrom, the EU Commissioner for Trade, has now said the bloc will reach a free trade agreement with the UK after its divorce from Brussels." "The statement represents a major victory for Mrs May who has said that the offer of an unfavourable trade deal with the EU would prompt her to quit talks. She has insisted that “no deal for Britain is better than a bad deal”. The Prime Minister’s tough negotiating stance was not welcomed by Brussels with European leaders insisting they would not be “intimidated” by the threat to walk away from negotiations." No wonder Junky and his mate had faces like a mile of bad road, when they left number ten yesterday, while Theresa was having a good laugh. |

Good to see the jumped up Eu Big Knobs starting to back off from their attitude of threats, bullying and attempted intimidation.
The last thing in the World they dare risk, is a No Deal. That would be the final nail in their coffin and well they know it, now. |

Merkel has made it clear today along with other senior EU politicians that all May is going to get if she does not accept reality is a bad deal for the UK. If May was a man the EU would have him firmly by the b**** |
Re: Post EU Referendum
MP Jacob Rees Mogg just said he prefers Mrs May negotiating with Mrs Merkel over Brexit (instead of Mr Corbyn) ...
Even the MP's don't know it is NOT Mrs Merkel doing the negotiating !!! No wonder the British people don't have a clue about the workings of the EU, if this is what they hear and see on the news ! PS spell check wants to change MP's into Mops ;) |
