French Industrial Output Falls in January

Industrial output rises and falls unexpectedly. Dick’s link is for the long-term, not short-term.

One question: whenever there is a rise in industrial output and a rise in UK exports, why do some on here insist it is because we are in the EU, but when UK industrial output falls it is because of Brexit?

Is it because we're still in the EU?

The closer we get to brexit, falling confidence , the more the influence of rising imput prices due to the Brexit fall in sterling t, he more obvious it is to anyone with a basic grasp of facts that brexit is not going to plan.

Police Report: Migrant Crime Drastically Increased in 2016

The German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) has released a new report which claims that crimes committed by migrants rapidly increased in 2016 compared to the previous year.

The new report from the BKA states that in 2016 there was a total of 295,000 crimes that involved immigrants as suspects, up 90,000 from 2015 when there were 205,000.

The police say that the crimes counted did not include migrant specific crimes like illegal entry into Germany or staying in the country illegally Die Welt reports.

Much the same story in France, now well into its second year of State of Emergency which seems to becoming an almost permanent feature.

Germans don't want those migrants either.
Perhaps spend your time to learn German. Then you can read German papers, visit and talk to Germans. See how wonderful they find migrants and EU.

It's only natural that people living in an island bubble of consciousness presume that the "rest of the world" sees everything from the same isolated point of view. After all, their "world" is quite a bit smaller than the rest.

The Germans have have a word for the victims of that mindset. "Inselaffen".

I do not claim to speak for all Brits.
Do you speak for all Germans , do you live in Germany or Thailand as your signature suggests.

What's a reinactment society? I suspect it is part of your poor education:p

The 1950's is only yesterday when rationing caused by Germany's last European adventure ended.

However:-

The 50,s obviously is still part of your daily thinking if you think it was only yesterday .
Thanks for confirming it and that for you it was a better time.

Really? If your country wouldn't be such a total failure at global politics in the past and the present the Middle East wouldn't be coming apart in this awful brutal way. Then we wouldn't have the exodus of traumatized people on such a massive scale. No refugee crisis, no rise in crimes in Germany.
