Apparently, Our Leader is now off to Strasbourg to fix the mess other people have made of this process; - I hope they're very, very sorry and contrite about their failure/s .......
I'm a little unsure what she can communicate that can't be done by email or telephone, but it may be that on return she'll proudly stand on the steps of Britannia 1, wave a piece of paper & declare deal-in-our-time.
Neville Chamberlain #2, and look how he ended up.

I think, for a 'happy ending' she needs to be there.

Had to rush off that text so didn't catch my error.

It seems Blueboy himself likes LIW's company.

It's a tough call when guessing the logic of desperate delusionals. British politics is in a zone beyond the absurd. Anything could happen really.

Well to be exact it's 52/48 but it's close to half/half. Modern Britain is definitely more informed today than it was in 1973 and even with the seemingly overwhelming Remain scare campaign, more modern day British want out than to remain. No playing with words and logic is needed from Brexiteers.

Then why do they consistently resort to it?

Correction: He ran a very strong and well resourced scare campaign, then ran away.

The problem though ami is that, as expats, we're all going to get the pointy-sharp-end of the shaft of that delusional state, inserted up our collective.... sensitive parts.

You wish. Anyway, there's only one "poll" that matters.

We just need a Winston Churchill to come storming onto the stage.
