I normally ignore obvious trolls. But Yesterday made me angry and scared about the next few months and what is coming down the road. I would not be surprised to see them go for a state of emergency on a no deal scenario and then run with it to the obvious conclusion. Johnson and Cummings I consider to be fundamentally dangerous to the future of the UK.

I don't think you're over-stating any concerns at all. In fact, if you take a long hard look at the route deliberately taken to date, against declared aims, it seems to me that the Army - perhaps even militia may end up on UK streets. The problem here is that the population is being told of 'short-term disruption' and 'bumps in the road'. Once those borders go up the predicted shortages & disruptions are permanent until alternative sources (which could take two-three years) become available. State of Emergency yes - that's the easy bit. The difficult part is deciding which parts of the UK population go without

Yes, I'm with you. The whole thing makes me angry and if it were at all possible for me I would move to the UK tomorrow to try to find a tiny part that I could play somewhere to help get things right again. A part of me hopes that the general population will work out what is going on and be just as angry and take to the streets again. We have a history of doing so, and of being ungovernable at certain crucial junctures.
