As an investment, I think you'll have to wait a while before they're worth anything on ebay.

They've already been put on there for around the £50 range, but that's not to say anyone has been stupid enough to buy them at that price (they're £10 from the Mint). Mine weren't bought as investments, but as keepsakes.

I never look at ebay, so no idea what that is. I just passed on what I'd been told by a friend earlier today, and what I'd overheard from other people on the tour of the Mint yesterday evening.

No they aren't, Eric; but you'll no doubt be gratified to learn that, as well as all of the UK's coins, €uro coinage is also produced at the Royal Mint, along with coins for 50 or 60 countries around the world too. It's a great British success story.
