Default New 50 pence commemoration coin

I see Julia H.B. is making a special offer to those Remainers who are unhappy about using the new 50 pence coin.

She has kindly offered to take them off your hands, give you back 20 pence back in return for each one and tell you how you’re allowed to spend it.

That way you can continue to believe you’re still in the EU and live happily ever after.

Nice to see that the Brexiteers are starting off by dumbing things down. Where's the effing Oxford comma, bloody morons!

Oh, things were "dumbed down" long before the referendum. In the macro view, lack of an "oxford comma" is entirely insignificant.

The slagging off has come from both sides - Leave and Remain. There's no moral high ground for any faction in Brexit.

Nor have I There might be a good reason for that though I'll see if I can snaffle one in a couple of months.

Perhaps they are only being issued to the approved tribes?

I'm actually willing to bet good money that they've made the wrong and they won't work in any of the machines.

Always supposing that anything takes coins any more of course.

Ah ok, I’ll look out for them next week - if I actually use any cash next week.

Two problems. First, I’ve virtually lost any interest in buying stuff or spending money. Second, if I do have occasion to pay for something, it’s much easier to whip out the plastic.
