They are still looking for his female companion. I bet lots of media sources are very upset as they can't blame this one on Muslim terrorists, just a home grown idiot, with access to high powered gun, at least 100 shots were fired according to reports.

Reports are now 50 dead...200+ injured.

Shooter named at 64 yr old Steven Paddock. The woman 'person of interest' who is thought to have shared the hotel room with Paddock...has been found.

This must now be one of the worst killing spree shooting in the US ever, but, once again nothing will be done about the number of automatic weapons in private hands. Trump will tweet about the fact that it's really big shame, a huge shame and we should do something, but neither he or any of his minions will come up with any sort of solution.

It is now the worst killing spree in US history.

If we are getting political...obviously Obama didn't do anything after the Orlando shootings to prevent this one. Seems non of his predecessors did as these shootings seem to be getting worse and worse.

If Sandy Hook didn't convince people to change things then nothing will.

The problem is...Americans love their guns. It's part of the culture...therefore difficult to change.

Not Obamas fault, gun control would not have got through the House and Congress.

I didn't say just Obama ...I said 'and non of his predecessors'. There are too many Americans who love their guns and don't want change.

Obama tried after Sandy Hook, made an empassioned plea but couldn't beat the gun lobby. The NRA spent 30 million dollars getting Trump elected, don't expect any change.

I would be surprised if an automatic weapon was involved, think that has only happened once and that involved a police officer.
