I have not expressed support for Trump nor condemned him. I’m simply pointing that if the Democrats go into this election using the same tactics and repeating the same rhetoric as they did in 2016 hoping for a different outcome then they’ll be sorely disappointed.

Why should living in a low population area with mixed party support give you the most powerful vote?

The whole system is screwed up, maybe as more old people die off there can actually be some positive changes because there will be fewer people clinging to the old ways that simply don't work any more.
Well with a Republic you need someway of ensuring that States have a t least some representation, and as you said winners and losers of any change. If you say to a significant percentage that they do not matter not sure that helps the Union.

The trouble with old people is that they are actually getting more numerous, so not only would you need to kill off the oldies but put a limit on new ones joining them.

I would tend to agree with this , albeit from afar.

I certainly have no support whatsoever for Trump nor those that think this current USA admin is somehow in any way OK.

There are a number of posters on these POTUS threads who, while (apparently) not supporting Trump and his cohorts either criticise every single opponent (are they all bad?) -which almost looks supportive of Trump or are, at least, an apologist for him - or glories in the man's excesses.

I'm sure BIP is not one but the lack of condemnation is a puzzle unless one is completely uninterested. Perhaps that explains Johnwoo's comment about seeming to support him.

Not that BiP needs me to speak for him.
He is expressing a notion re the Democrats from a neutral position. In this case neutral means neutral. What BiP may personally feel about the current admin or any other USA admin did not come into his post.
It perhaps shouldn't have come into mine either.

When one looks at this impartially BiPs post ,for me, holds true.

As I have said, if reiterating Trump's Egotistical, self aggrandizing behavior, corruption and compete lack any sense of decency or morality is not enough, then nothing is.
Anyone of the Democratic candidates would be a better choice.

Not understanding why his supporters vote for him will be another Democrat mistake.

I find a neutral position a cop out, why post on a Trump thread if one doesn't have an opinion one way or another.
I happen to care who becomes the next POTUS and so should the rest of the world considering his views on climate change alone.

This is not a Trump thread. It is re HC, Democratic nominations and their MO.

Quite right it's not, they tend to merge. my mistake.
HC and the Dems can hardly be discussed without mentioning Trump
