Exactly the puzzle. They could read you saying it's what they're trained to do. It seems they went against their training. Unless, of course,, they followed that other stuff. You know, legal stuff from the dept of Justice

I don't know how they would confuse "only use reasonable force" with "it's ok to shoot a jaywalker" though, but you did... and then you ask why innocent people get shot, so...

maybe just make the test to be a cop harder than the one to open an account here. Problem solved.

The former Minneapolis police officer charged with murder in the death of George Floyd posted bail on Wednesday and was released from prison.

According to court documents, Derek Chauvin posted $1 million US bond, and the Department of Corrections confirmed he was no longer in custody at the state's facility in Oak Park Heights, where he had been detained.

It was a non-cash bail bond, posted by a bail bondsman - a bizarre for profit business where the bondsman posts surety, charging the person a percentage. They don't post the whole cash amount, but they are liable for it if the accused bolts.

Oh I know, I was talking about the 10% he had to at least come up with, I was wondering where get suddenly came up with it, seems he didn't have it before since he waited months to post bail.

Looks like in Minnesota you need 10% + enough collateral to back up the entire bail amount.

"It was not immediately clear where Chauvin got the money to pay his bond. In Minnesota, someone who posts bond must pay 10 per cent, in this case $100,000, to the bond company and have collateral, such as a house, to back the full amount."
