There's been no 'dogpiling' of individual posters that I've seen on BE. There are instances of number of posters pointing out to certain individual posters that their claims are BS, then pointing out later that said poster claims to be the victim in the discussion.
The closest thing I've seen to this 'dogpile' thing has been some of the comments aimed towards Harry and Meghan on a certain thread I no longer follow, but even I wouldn't call that dogpiling.

Strikes me as giving a name to something so that someone can accuse others of doing it. So as usual total BS.
I don't think it happens here. Forceful pushback against a blatantly incorrect assertion, yes, but 'ganging up' on someone implies a modicum of collusion that simply doesn't happen here.
