An incredible opportunity to take a nap it seems.
COP26: Was US President Biden asleep or just resting his eyes?Video footage has emerged of Joe Biden sitting with his eyes closed at the COP26 climate change summit.
The US president is among the world leaders who have travelled to the event – which he has called an "incredible opportunity" – in Glasgow.

Until these people start setting an example I don't want to hear them lecturing me. No less than 400 private jets flew in carrying people attending this event and the likes of Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates travelled from their megayachts (one of them took a helicopter from his own yacht to attend a party on the other's). The average person's carbon footprint will never be more than a tiny fraction of theirs.

Meanwhile the Israeli energy minister is unable to attend due to lack of wheelchair accessible transport, she comments -
"It is sad that the UN, which promotes accessibility for people with disabilities, in 2021, does not provide accessibility to its events. Hopefully the lessons learned will be learned so that tomorrow green energy promotion, removal of barriers and energy efficiency will be the things I will deal with."

I hate to be the bearer of reality, but Greta gonna be right again. It's going to be 'blah blah blah' and not much else.
Positive side to all this blah blah blah and no action is the weather is more interesting and I can still buy a V8.
Negative side is the weather is more interesting and I can still buy a V8.

Can you drink a V8 under those spontaneously combusting palm trees you have there though?

Your comments are about right.
Making blah blah blah promises is easy, especially when you can rely on others to mask inaction, it's doing stuff that's hard and the last time I witnessed any world leader doing hard stuff was........
I live by a maxim "It's never too late until it's too late."
COP26 attendees should have this phrase branded across their buttocks to remind them to get moving every time they feel like sitting down and taking a rest because it's already too late.
