If Britain wasn't at the head of it, there'd be a campaign to get us out of it.

Not sure. I believe the Elgin marbles may finally be going to wrap up their holiday in the UK though.

The Canadian government has a useful website about the head of state. https://www.gg.ca/en/role/crown/sove...d-royal-family
All enquiries pertaining to the Royal Family (including honorary appointments to Canadian regiments) or to Royal visits, patronage or the use of the word “Royal,” as well as pledges of loyalty, should be sent to:

Office of the Secretary the Governor General
1 Sussex Drive
Ottawa Ontario K1A 0A1
[email protected]
I’ll bet most English people don’t know where to send their pledges of loyalty!

Discount for a long-term stay at that particular hotel.

George Clooney is now agitating for their return to Greece, however.

Who the hell is George Clooney anyway? I keep hearing his name mentioned but I’ve no idea who he is.

'No,---collaboration' -- both good.
(No difficulty for any who want to leave membership of the Commonwealth but can be expelled if not following ethos,)

LIW in your posts and those of a few others, I read an advocation of international collaboration, judging from the tone of 'some' posts here, as I said above, just 'lip service'.

Then you should read differently.

At least in my case. Our loss of the EU is all about our loss of collaboration and cooperation, and if you have read any of my posts at all you will see that I've said that repeatedly.

I don't remember ever saying anything at all about the Commonwealth, in any sense.

That's because you've never been a teenage girl.

No worried, let's return the entire royal family to India and then we can have a system of government fit for the 21st century in the UK.

Funny you should say that! I suppose strictly speaking it’s true.

To the idiots who try to mock Commonwealth Day and with it the Commonwealth, just look at the video.

Kenya on Sunday (2020( joined other Commonwealth countries in marking the annual Remembrance Day. The Memorial Day has been observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War in honour of the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty.

There is no need to end collaboration and cooperation between EU and UK, UK is just no longer a 'member'.

You have repeatedly spoken of international cooperation----the Commonwealth is an international society based on cooperation. ( The UK was previously in a compulsive relationship with the countries).
