Your Weekend?
What's happening with you lot?
I actually managed to get out on the bike today for a couple of hours! Did 120 miles with blue skies, dry roads, and temperatures of about 15 degrees! Can't fault it!
So.....what you been up to?

Played golf in a quagmire under overcast skies in temps approaching +ve. Went to get a ticket for a relative from darn sarf, to see City v WHU tomorrow. Came home as it started to rain and haven't moved of the couch since 2:00 - Can't fault it.

I`ve sat here all day wondering why you cover up the plate of your illegal bike, they will probably trace it by the pics if you keep posting them.

It's a standard practice on bike forums when you post your bike pics JDR....one word...."ringers".

OH and I went for a nice long (Car) ride yesterday and ended up in the middle of a classic car rally. As we drove through village after village the locals were out along the road side waving and shouting at the classic cars, so OH and I stared to wave back at them as we drove past. Well we did look classic in our Berlingo

we did a similar thing when we drove through Castalla during the Moors and Christians - we had 'pirates' following us and became part of the parade until we turned into a side street
Back to the thread - I have spent the weekend sitting on a sunlounger in the hot sunshine doing crosswords and drinking wine Looking out at fields of almond trees in blossom, the sound of bees buzzing in the blossom and birds twittering bliss

I spent this morning in the garage on my turbo trainer. With all the rain we are having at the moment i could not be bothered taking my bike out on the road.

Re: Your Weekend?
Hi all,
lucky all of you that have had sunshine, here it has been horrible for Saturday, rained all day and today dry and very mild but so wet outside in the garden. Spent most of the day demolishing an old computer workstation and making room for the wallpapering to begin in my spare room that has been the spare/junk/computer room for goodness how long and has ended up looking like a tip, plus it houses an extra bank of fitted wardrobes for my clothes and shoes, well it did!! Now have new wardrobe a small sofa and all the junk that had stored up over the years now stored all around the house, BUT papering starts tomorrow and then furniture can begin to go back, hurrah, then I will get my bedroom back. But the computer has been relegated to the landing in bits, so working from my laptop in the dining room and listening to Wave 96fm as I write! Don't wear out the sunshine i shall be back in Competa in 3 weeks time, and I need to see blue sky!
Luv Eve
