I'm pretty amazed at the wonderful and sheltered life you must have led.

You have never come across a single female who has targeted a male who is with someone else, never known one who has 'headaches' or is manipulative, or anything like that, or flirts inappropriately? Never seen a woman give that nasty calculating look when they are assessing a rival and think no-one is looking?

Or is it that is had never occurred to you to look?

Step one. I post saying women are predictable in that their insults are usually calling you gay, impotent or possessed of a tiny penis.

Step two, You say I must be gay.

Step three I point out your sad predictability.

Step four you say you aren't being predictable.

What are you then? That rules out clever and witty.

As you so rightly say, you can only guess, and as usual, you guess badly.

Try studying animals, and the see how that study fits humans too. Adultery, prostitution, murder, rape and going after married men. It's all there, and more besides. We like to see ourselves as oh so civilised, but that veneer is woefully thin.

It's an awareness thing and yes I am highly tuned to the darker side of people. It is difficult not to be cynical but there is still room for a little romance and softness, I think.

Damn straight. The trouble is, that is delightful with someone you can trust 100%, but with so much of the dark side out there it pays to be very aware of what is going on. May you never experience it.
