Typical sexist stereotypical remark, just like your post that started all this.
I'd rather be a 'gross' male than a typical female with all their little tendencies. Ever looked at those women who go after other women's husbands? None of them ever show a trace of regret worth a damn, and they will target their best friends, even their own family.
They use sex as a tool and a weapon, and god help you if you are ever honest with them.

You have an unpleasant jaundiced view of the fairer sex and can only assume that your opinions have been formed by bitter experience(s). On the other hand it could be that you are not an ideal mate/partner/husband and need to change.

Some boys never really grow up do they.

Like Madrid boy I've never had woman problems,...well not major ones anyway.

Maybe cos I've always had everything from a plan B to XYZ in my mind just in case,.....even at times when all was dunky dory, sweetness and light with not a cloud in the sky.
Gotta be up early in the morning, to be able think one step ahead of the cunning of the fairer sex.

Interestingly, with the reputation that Spain has for "machismo" within the UK. (I say within the UK because Spain doesnt think of itself as anymore sexist than other countries)...
My OH thinks British people are very sexist and that the two genders dont have a clue how to talk to one another. For example, if you go an a night out, almost always the men go out with other men and women with other women. In Spain, people usually go out in mixed groups.
And it is true, at school almost all my friends were boys, you'd only speak to a girl if you wanted them to be your girlfriend. And how many married couples have close friends of the oppositite sex in the UK?
People are much more integrated between the sexes in Spain as far as I can see, certainly among people under 40.
What do you think?

It is still to a certain extent frowned upon in the more traditional parts of Spain.
I am referring here to married people under 40 or so, as you describe.
No doubt Spain will get around to it some day.
Once they get past their mid life crisis, then nobody really cares so much,...hence numerous bars crowded with older men,(probably only desperate for a break from the nagging Mrs. lol.) with hardly a woman in sight.

It's more to do with sexual freedom, that groups of guys and groups of women can go out seperately in the UK (and much of Europe) for a night out.

I had some Spanish male friends in London who loved to go out to try and chat up British women. They said it was impossible to chat up Spanish women as they are too friendly and down to earth, like trying to chat up your sister

Said about spanish men
They cannot love the women they make love to and they cannot make love to the woman they love.
That is why brothels are accepted and do a roaring trade.
How come this thread has suddenly turned into spanish versus British women. I think some of you men are just sad old farts who spend all day online!
