Are You an Advanced Retried Person?
I received a puff on my e-mail today which began with: 'Spain represents the perfect holiday spot to lot of tourists and even an advanced retried person...'. It doesn't get better.
Why do our friends the Spanish spend so much on promotional material and yet shy away from even spending a few pennies on having it looked at by a native-speaking Briton?
Oh, Cousin Bartolomé spent a month in Bristol, he can fix it...
Here's another teaser from the advert:
'...They also display movies, sometimes, by the pool, which results in a very fascinating view, the powerful beach, the pleasant air and you also you lying about the cold sand and enjoying this brilliant moment'.
Actually, no. Leave it as it is!

I adore seeing the way that the English language is presented at times but agree with you that if they want to gain any form of income from a translation they should have it checked properly.

I'm fairly well advanced and I've been retried many times.
Does that qualify me for the star prize ?
