Yes, another tax question

Well more asking for confirmation really.

Brit, non-resident.

Owned my property nr Cadiz for 20 years.

Normally do the annual modelo 210 as I have never rented it out in the past.

This year will be renting it out for the first time - so my basic understanding is that I have to pay 24% on the gross with no deductibles and no tax-free allowance etc. Plus need to do 4 tax returns a year.

Have I missed any secret sauce? Is this really how bad it is?

TIA

Do you not need a licence too?

Certainly for tourist rentals, I don't think (think) so for long-term.

Yes, a licence is now required, I think the rules vary between regions

Well, I've spoken to a Spanish tax person who has suggested that the tax authority turn a blind eye to the quarterly returns when it's a full-time rental (different form apparently) and accept once a year, so I'm going to roll with that rather than a ridiculous 4 times per year.

Exactly the same scenario as us. My tax guy now does ours 4 x per year and the tax goes out of the bank automatically, no hassle from our side at all, I dont touch anything. I didnt want to chance a fine by doing once a year.
