Xativa Quiz night
Does anyone know if there is a British bar in the Xativa area that has a quiz night?

Just found this don't know how up to date though.
"If you're looking for a fix of Brit food and company, the bar in Valles (the one John & Shirley used to run), Pizzeria Celtica in Novetle and The Black Cat in Lloc Nou (also previously run by John & Shirley) serve food at lunchtime and evening. Check opening hours as they often close on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. There are often specials such as Karaoke/Quiz nights, salsa dancing, etc and the Pizzeria Celtica also has a small shop selling UK products)."

The better place to go would be the rastro in Novetle. Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed and Friday mornings I seem to recall (10:00-14:00). They have a very well stocked English 'supermarket', and an English cafe.
I'm sure someone there will know if there are any quiz nights - ask for Ron.

Same for Valles.
John & Shirley opened a place in Canals, but last time I was there they had a few issues with the council giving them a hard time.
Bar Celtica is now Spanish run with Lee doing other things.
The Rasto is still open, but soon to be renamed Eco Parc but with Corte Ingles prices.
The cafe is ok though, for erm ? Tea & Coffee (IMO)
