Xativa help
Hi
Does anyone know whether there are many English speaking expats living in the Xativa area? I'm setting up a English language school in a village nearby, but I've never spent much time round here. I'm just trying to find out whether it's worthwhile advertising for Spanish classes to expats as well? Any ideas Thanks |

How can you set up a school if you don`t even know the area ?
I do know some english people with a holiday home there can't see why you shouldn't run a multi purpose ad though - that's what I did, although almost all my work comes 'boca a boca' |
Re: Xativa help
I used to live in Valencia years ago, then moved back to UK. I'm setting up with someone who also lives in Valencia. We know enough about the immediate area for our Spanish speaking market needs, but have just recently been considering whether offering Spanish classes may be an option. When I lived in Valencia there weren't many English speakers outside the city, but I that has obviously changed. I was hoping to found out to what extent.

take a look at the Inland Trader ( they do a printed copy as well as online) - lots of English services advertising to Expats so I would say plenty of Brits in the area

Re: Xativa help
Thanks guys. That's just the kind of thing I was hoping to find out. I'll check out Inland Trader.

Any ideas Thanks I, myself, went to one of these schools and found that the classes were nearly empty - perhaps that shows that there is not much call for schools in this area?? |
