It is around here, the hole was in the main road through Benalmadena Pueblo.

About 5 years ago there used to be a guy that repaired holes in the main seafront road into Marbella (must be the most dangerous road in Spain), he used to wait for a lull in the traffic, run out with a shovel full of asphalt and smack it into the hole with the back of his shovel.
He ain`t been about for a while though. :blink:

The photo was from the UK times and about the UK Here they just leave all the stones to fly out of the pothole and after a few years maybe, just maybe fill it in. I think they have to wait for your guy to come up here for a working holiday.

Normal here. We have half the road missing up the road from me, literally one side of a about 4 foot of road has just fallen away down the hill. To stop cars falling down it, someone has kindly put a few bolders around it. These bolders are effectively in the middle of the road so its not easy to miss them, I only manage to cos I know the road! In the UK it would be a major incident, tape, barriers, temporary traffic lights and all sorts - and it would have been repaired within days. This has been like it for several weeks now!!! :D:blink:

You mean here in the UK, it would have been coned-off etc. within days, jojo.
Then the actual 'repair', would have taken WEEKS ! :lol:
You forgot to include the: '1 digging, 7 watching' factor into your equation, plus the TEA breaks ! ;)

Cheers

Yep!!! Our aforementioned landslide is still there altho the bolders have been removed now cos someone drove into them (luckily he didnt fall over the side). I guess it'll be there til they get around to mending it. They are doing one further up the road - well they've put some poured masses of white gravel on a sunken peice of road to bring it up to the right level. They'll probably leave it now til it sinks again!!!

I love this country!!!!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

This one has the top class danger warning system implemented cos its mid road and a mtr deep.
A couple of rocks, then two barriers and a bit of tape, then a week wait so far. :rofl::rofl:
