There are many many questions about how to obtiain work or how to set up a company. Here is a link to a Spanish government's website which hopefully give you some answers. The PDFs are in several languages but give links to other websites.
Some information is a bit out of date, like the cost of living and the issuing of ID cards, but in general the information is helpful.
Maybe this should be added to the libre de cerveza posting.

What's this about liberating Cerveza? Is that another country around Iraq?

I've heard of Cuba Libre....though never seen it in my lifetime.
