Re: Wintering in a Spanish static caravan
Good news that Doris...........ta :) (Rental with dogs that is, not the freezing weather!). It's the daytime temps I'm referring to, not bothered about night time. My electric blanket can beat just about any chilly weather!

Re: Wintering in a Spanish static caravan
I think some of the worries are unfounded
I owned motorhomes for years. Most caravans and motorhomes are very well insulated. Ive done both Scotland and Southern Ireland (west coast) in February periods in snowy wintery cold conditions, and have been really snug in the motor home. they heat up very quickly even in those temperatures and so I'm fairly sure that winter in Spain wouldnt be too much of a problem |

Heikeundalan
Are you guys at Marial or another site? If it's not Marial, do you have a website address that you can post please? |
Re: Wintering in a Spanish static caravan
A static caravan will possibly be better insulated than many of the houses which have been "thrown" up around Malaga.
Having a mobile home in UK, you will be familiar with the pros and cons. Watch out for (unregulated) site charges and unscrupulous site owners. |
