Winter in Barcelona

Hi everyone.
I'll be moving from England to Barcelona mid November.
I was wondering what the weather is in late autumn and in winter. Do I need lots of warm clothes and thick jackets and jumpers? I'd assume that if you go outside of Barcelona to the countryside or more rural areas it will be cold but will it be the same as for example in Germany or England?
Many thanks.

I think I'll just take a few warm tops, jackets, trousers and boots.
There will probably be charity shops or boot sales where I can buy second hand if needed?
This would mean less removal boxes which also saves on removal costs.

Spain in winter is cold and wet.. just like the uk or germany. no snow like hamburg, but it gets to the minus temps over night.

Buying second hand is an option, but primark and carrefour have clothes from 1€ so you dont really need to...

Thanks. Would it be really cold from November into February?

Just go and see for yourself:-). No point asking others and we all have different views and feel temps differently. If you come from a German winter, it will feel mild and a December in Barcelona is still 3x sunnier than a December in Frankfurt, but along the coast the wind might make you feel colder if you never experienced the wind and once you get used to certain temps, you'll feel cold unless you change your habits. If you have a cold shower in the morning and don't wear your jacket too early, you'll never feel too cold in Barcelona. Some people from Finland just roll around in the snow naked and never feel cold in Finland, while some British go for a swim in the Atlantic and can wear shorts even in winter.
