Get a decent architect - you will need one for the pool licence. He can sort out the estimates for the refurb work etc and manage the builders as well.
It will cost you a few % but it will be money well spent if you can find the right guy. do you happen to know the rules regarding window tinting in Spain?? |

Sorry Matt, I've no idea, apart from the fact that you will find out when you have your ITV test! |

Widow tinting.
I was just wondering if anyone knows what the law states regarding window tinting of cars in Spain.
I know its allowed but not sure what grade of tint or to what extent a car can be tinted. Does anyone know the answer? |

Its looking like it is legal but like all things out there only a specific type, and not on the front windows above a certain level. Not looking good for limo tint though! |
Re: Widow tinting.
Right, from what I understand, I am allowed to tint, but not the driver or passenger side because they are counted as emergency windows and putting tinting film on them would make them shatter proof.
Oh and wait for it................I have to have a certificate to say it is an authorised type, and the certificate has to be carried with the car at all times! |

Re: Window tinting.
I've seen a Spanish plated car with a reddish window tint, quite dark, but only on the rear windows.[/I]

Re: Window tinting.
Hi,
My partner & I change number plates to Spanish, and we have had to remove window tinting to get the cars passed the ITV. The alternative is to get them Honologated - price around 300 euros, but only 275 euros to remove and redo !!! I think five cars have had to be done, but am not sure. Dave Fisher |
