if anyone offers you Ron Montero don't upset your customers
and it wasnt cheap, but should have known as it has a sticker on it
saying it won some award from some crappy EU organisation

If you allow me to include Whiskey - Jamesons is the biggest seller (one of the barmaid's husbands drinks it a lot). Apart from that - difficult to say - Mrs. J necks anything she can.

Not possible, I agree.
It would have to be pure alcohol and as such couldn't be described as a consumable spirit.

Not come across anything officially stronger than 80percent Stroh, though I've had some lethal potcheen direct from an Irish bog that would give it a good gallop.

Rosemary

I'm the same with premium lager especially the old 'stella artois'
After a couple of pints my speech would be seriously impaired could however drink copious amounts of standard lager.

Agreed people often confuse ABV with 'proof'.

They are not the same.

ABV is the amount of alcohol/ethanol in any particular volume.

Proof is an old fahioned method of calculating the same.

This post has now gone wildly off topic but as it was posted by a troll who has been banned I have let it run.

It's now much more interesting than the original topic so it can go to Siesta time.

Its really funny to watch people drink it for the first time. They see everyone else take great slurps and think "Oh its fine, no problems, don't know what everyone is on about" so they take a great gulp and the following face is sort of a mixture of a bulldog chewing a wasp and complete disbelief that anyone would ever put it inside them. Ive not been making it long and I'm sure in a few years I will improve but for now it certainly hits the spot!

Coors Lager was the most strange drink I ever had, two pints and I was still fine.. a pint later, on the floor out cold... tried it twice to make sure and yep, knocked out on the third pint. Tasted good though
