Who is your all time hero?
Who is you all time hero that you look up to or remember.
Is it someone famous that you always recall as growing up or is it your parents?

My Grandad, still chugging along at 93! Wish I could see him more often.

Captain Badminton-Squash has £22.
He buys a Daily Telegraph = 83p
Some flowers for his wife = £7.39
Five slimline Panatellas = £6.25
Sergeant Smith has £14.
He buys a Daily Mirror = 45p
Some chocolates for his wife = £4.50
Twenty Benson & Hedges = £5.00
Private Brownjob has £3.80
He buys a Daily Sport = 30p
Puts on a eachway bet on a nag = £1.50
Some Old Holburn = £2.00
The remainder to his wife for housekeeping
Question. How much do the three soldiers have left between them?

Reminds me of an exam question I had to take in the Forces years ago. If you didn't have a maths qualification, you had to take a maths test in order to be eligible for promotion to Corporal. The question went something like this:

But that's just it. A stereotypical misconception that a Private is of a lower class and that he'd spend the money on himself rather than his wife.
The question therefore, was written by an Officer and not a Private.
