The mention of Elvis impersonators by HBG on another thread has reminded me that there were fake Beatles bands around (a little like tribute bands), and at least one of them were Spanish and added a kind of flamenco beat to the famous tunes. Can anyone remember their name?

not sure - the ones I'm thinking of used a kind of flamenco-ish beat and had the Beatles lyrics/tunes on top. Listening to Los Rolls on the link you gave, they seem more of a direct copy.

Interesting looking at Los Manolos tracks on YouTube - seems they didn't just do Rumba versions of Beatles songs, which I had initially thought.
