Who were the fake Beatles?
The mention of Elvis impersonators by HBG on another thread has reminded me that there were fake Beatles bands around (a little like tribute bands), and at least one of them were Spanish and added a kind of flamenco beat to the famous tunes. Can anyone remember their name?

At one time all the tapas restaurants in the UK felt it obligatory to play that music - or it seemed like it.

Like you, I'd be gutted to think I wasn't on his list! Hopefully we still remain on a few more lists, as I have a few on my list it's only fair I'm on theirs.

Well, I never. No wonder I've been scratching my head on reading some posts, wondering what the writers are on about. That's explained it, one half has got the other half on ignore.
'What a crazy world we're living in,' that wasn't the Beatles, it was Joe Brown.

Interesting looking at Los Manolos tracks on YouTube - seems they didn't just do Rumba versions of Beatles songs, which I had initially thought.
