Just wondered if anyone is watching the final. Who are you all behind? And why?

I wondered why the result wasn't given on the French news this evening - according to Yahoo, they are apparently still playing? 6-6 in the final set and no tie-break? I remember a game in the 60s between two Australians (Roy Emerson v.?) when the last set went to 22-20.... :blink:

Brilliant game, I think the best player won on the day, didn't see it all, but saw te last hour or so.. Just need Spain to win the next test match series, and it's all over..

Fantastic match, it was a shame that anyone had to lose, but so pleased that Nadal won, both players are in a league of their own. Murray has a long long way to go to get to that standard.

Not into watching sport of any kind but was completely hooked on the march. Obviously I was rooting for Nadal but they were so evenly matched that I wondered if the game would ever end. What I particularly liked was their gentlemanly comments at the end and Nadal made it very clear that he still thinks of Federer as the superior player.

Agreed- even John McEnroe seemed to me 'emocionado' in his interview with Nadal. A match for the ages.

I thought it was over when Rafa lost the 4th set after having it almost won...
